iPhone 18 Pro runs Resident Evil 4 Remake at 60 fps and beats Apple's 40% claim

The iPhone 18 Pro held Resident Evil 4 Remake near 60 fps above 1080p in Dame Tech tests covered by Tech4Gamers and GamerSky. Gains versus the iPhone 17 Pro landed around 50%, above the up-to-40% GPU lift Apple cited for the A20 Pro.

What the test showed

On iPhone 18 Pro Max versus 17 Pro Max, RE4 Remake ran at 2346×1080 with mixed medium/low settings and stayed near locked 60 fps most of the time. GamerSky cites 58 fps average on A20 Pro versus 38.6 fps on A19 Pro (50.3%). 1% lows rose 77.3%.

Assassin's Creed Mirage stays capped at 30 fps on iPhone. The 18 Pro still held a locked 30 fps at about 1320p high, with 18.6% average and 36.1% 1% low gains.

Why it beats the keynote number

Apple said up to 40% sustained GPU performance for the 7-core A20 Pro. Dame Tech argues this AAA title cleared that mark.
