Xiaomi Connect Apple Watch is now in the Apple Watch App Store. It pairs an Apple Watch with Xiaomi phones running HyperOS 4.0.1 or later: calls, SMS, app alerts and Super Island live activities go to the wrist; steps, heart rate, calories, sleep and workout time flow into Mi Fitness.
What happened?
The feature was announced on September 23 with the Xiaomi 18 Pro series by mobile president Lu Weibing. On September 25 the app appeared on watchOS, according to IT Home and Gizmochina.
Requirements: HyperOS 4.0.1+, watchOS 11+, Apple Watch Series 6 or newer, SE 2 or newer, or Ultra. You can answer calls on the wrist and ring the phone or watch to find it.
Why it matters
Switching from iPhone to a Xiaomi flagship usually means losing the Apple Watch. Xiaomi Connect Apple Watch lowers that cost. HyperConnect already talked to iPhone, iPad and Mac; the watch was the missing piece.

It is still unclear whether every notification action works from the wrist, and whether every HyperOS 4.0.1 phone is supported from day one. An iPhone is still needed to install and update the watchOS app.
