VOID/BREAKER leaves Early Access on November 4 and joins Game Pass

The first-person roguelite shooter VOID/BREAKER leaves Early Access and launches in version 1.0 on November 4, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. Publisher Playstack and developer Stubby Games also confirmed the game will be available on Game Pass. The announcement came on Thursday, October 1, and was reported by Gematsu and the game's official account on X.

The title first launched in Steam Early Access on August 20, 2025. The full release keeps the same core: fast combat against machines driven by a hostile AI, deep weapon modding, synergies between mods, and environmental destruction as a gameplay mechanic, not only a visual effect.

A solo project after The Entropy Centre

VOID/BREAKER is a solo project by Daniel Stubbington of Stubby Games. The developer is known for The Entropy Centre (2022), a Portal-inspired puzzle game. In the FPS, the player is trapped in a cycle imposed by an AI and tries to break the sequence on every run, choosing riskier routes for bigger rewards.

The official account summed up the 1.0 package as high-speed combat, gun modding, synergies, and environmental destruction. The game's site lists Steam, PS5, and Xbox as launch platforms. Gematsu adds the Microsoft Store and Game Pass availability.

What changes on November 4

For players who already tried Early Access, the date marks the end of that phase and the console debut. For anyone waiting on Game Pass, it is the first confirmed window to play without a separate purchase inside Microsoft's Xbox and PC ecosystem. The standalone price was not the focus of the date announcement.
