Super Psychic Policeman Chojo premieres today on Japanese TV and Crunchyroll

The anime Super Psychic Policeman Chojo (original title 『超巡!超条先輩』) premieres this Tuesday, October 6, 2026, on Japanese television and on Crunchyroll. The adaptation of Shun Numa's manga joins the Ka-Anival block from Kansai TV and Fuji TV at 11 p.m. Japan time.

What happened?

The anime's official account and Crunchyroll confirmed the October 6 premiere of Super Psychic Policeman Chojo on the weekly Tuesday-night block. Production is by Arvo Animation, directed by Junichi Yamamoto, with series composition and scripts by Hayashi Mori and character designs by Masakatsu Sasaki.

The main cast has Yusuke Kobayashi as Meguru Chojo, Riko Aono as Nao Ippongi, Maria Naganawa as Robo-kun, Daisuke Ono as Yuki Inukai, and Toshiya Miyata as Hajime Keinain. The opening is “That's! Chojo,” by the group M!LK. The ending is “Mata Ashita,” by Shifuku Poncho. On September 8 there was an advance screening of the first episode in Odaiba with the cast.

Why it matters

Super Psychic Policeman Chojo is one of the fall 2026 premieres with a clear Weekly Shonen Jump origin. Shun Numa serialized the manga from February 2024 to June 2025, across eight volumes. VIZ publishes the English edition. The premise, as described by Crunchyroll and ANN, centers on psychic investigators who do not use their powers only for official work: lying, cheating, and shortcuts are part of the comedy.

Crunchyroll listed Super Psychic Policeman Chojo among the fall titles starting on October 6, the same day as The Cold Sato-san is Only Sweet to Me. The sources checked for this article do not include a separate announcement of a Brazilian Portuguese dub.

What changes in practice?

Crunchyroll subscribers can look for the Super Psychic Policeman Chojo episode on the same day as the Japanese broadcast, without a later window announced in the material reviewed. Fuji TV airs it on Tuesdays at 11 p.m. Japan time (UTC+9). Japan does not use daylight saving, so that is 11 a.m. in Brasília (UTC-3). The manga is already complete at eight volumes, so the anime adapts a finished work rather than an ongoing serial.
