Star Wars Galactic Racer launches Tuesday, October 6, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Fuse Games develops it and Secret Mode publishes it, with Lucasfilm Games. The official site and Secret Mode's Steam announcement confirm the worldwide date of October 6. The commercial title uses a colon, Star Wars: Galactic Racer, but the date and platforms are the same.
What time does Star Wars Galactic Racer unlock?
Fuse Games and Secret Mode have not published a single unlock schedule for every platform. The clearest signal, according to GameWatcher, comes from the PlayStation Store, which lists Star Wars Galactic Racer unlocking at 9:00 UTC on October 6 — 6:00 a.m. in Brasília. That is 10:00 BST in the UK and 11:00 CEST in Central Europe. PC and Xbox are confirmed for October 6, without a separate time from the companies.
What the game is
Star Wars Galactic Racer is set in the Outer Rim after the fall of the Empire. Players follow Shade into the Galactic League, an underground circuit bankrolled by syndicates. The campaign is runs-based: the pilot picks events, upgrades a repulsorcraft and carries some unlocks into the next attempt. Competitive multiplayer lets racers take customized vehicles online. Classes include skim speeder, speeder bike, landspeeder and podracer, each with its own physics. Tracks named on the official site include Tatooine, Jakku, Ando Prime and Lantaana.
There is no announced early access. Deluxe and Collector's editions do not start before the standard version. Deluxe adds three Kor Sarun vehicles, arcade events, a livery pack, banners and an 80-page digital art book, according to Secret Mode's Steam note. The physical Collector's edition includes a Darc X landspeeder model and collector items, plus the Deluxe digital content. Any pre-order includes a bonus livery whose color changes by store.
Why it matters
The launch lands on the same day as Gears of War: E-Day and brings repulsor racing back to Star Wars outside the Battlefront line. For players in Brazil, the practical detail is the clock: on PS5 the store points to 6:00 a.m. Brasília time; on PC and Xbox, check the store page on Tuesday morning, because the publisher has not detailed an exact unlock.
