Persona 4 Revival Shadow trailer brings new music and gameplay

The Persona 4 Revival Shadow trailer arrived on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Atlus published the video in English and Japanese, with new music and gameplay from the remake of the 2008 RPG. The game is still set for February 18, 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version on May 20, 2027, and a Game Pass launch.

What happened?

The Shadow trailer returns to the mystery in Inaba. According to the official description quoted by Gematsu, unusual cases disturb the quiet town as word of the Midnight Channel spreads. The protagonist and his classmates try to link the events and face Shadows, described as manifestations of one's other self. That is the game's fiction, not a report of a real event.

RPG Site noted that the trailer includes new music and gameplay, after earlier story, features and character trailers for Yukiko, Rise, Yosuke, Chie, Kanji, Teddie and Naoto. The Steam page is app 2963950.

Why it matters

Persona 4 Revival is Atlus's remake of Persona 4. The Shadow trailer is the newest look before the 2027 window. Turn-based combat, the other world and town life remain the core, now with updated production.

The Game Pass release, confirmed by Atlus when the date was announced in June 2026, also changes access: subscribers on Xbox and PC can play without a separate purchase on those platforms' launch day. The standard physical edition was announced at US$ 69.99.
