Persona 4 Revival gets a Shadow trailer and keeps its February 18, 2027 launch

On October 3, 2026, Atlus published the Shadow trailer for Persona 4 Revival, the remake of the 2008 RPG. The video returns to the mystery in Inaba: a string of unusual deaths, the Midnight Channel and the Shadows, which the developer describes as manifestations of a person's other self.

What the trailer shows

The official description talks about awakening Personas with classmates and searching for the truth inside the fog. The clip, about 1 minute and 38 seconds long, went up on the Atlus West channel and was covered by Gematsu and IGN. This material does not announce a new date or a list of gameplay changes versus the original game.

When and where to play

According to Gematsu, Persona 4 Revival launches on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC, on Steam and the Microsoft Store. The Nintendo Switch 2 version follows on May 20, 2027. The title will also be on Game Pass. Pre-orders are at atlus.link/P4R.

The official trailer is on Atlus West's YouTube: Persona 4 Revival — Shadow Trailer. Coverage of the drop was published by Gematsu.

Why it matters

Persona 4 is one of Atlus's most cited RPGs, and Revival is the modern reissue of the Midnight Channel story. The trailer does not change the calendar already announced, but it puts the game back in the conversation a few months before the February window, with Switch 2 arriving about three months after the other platforms.
