The Overgeared English dub arrives this Sunday, September 27, 2026, on Crunchyroll, the same day the first episode goes up in Japanese on Prime Video in Japan. Japanese linear TV only starts on October 2 on TOKYO MX and BS11.
What happened?
Crunchyroll confirmed the English cast and crew. Ricco Fajardo voices Grid. Alexis Tipton is Irene, Morgan Lauré is Yura and Bradley Gareth is Doran. Emily Fajardo directed the voices, Zach Bolton produced and Jared Smith adapted the script. The official note is on Crunchyroll News.
The anime, titled Tempal ~Item no Chikara~ in Japan, adapts the REDICE Studio webtoon based on Park Saenal's web novel. Ayako Kono directs at J.C.Staff, with series composition by Kenta Ihara and character designs by Ryosuke Tanigawa. Tatsumaru Tachibana and Asami Seto lead the Japanese cast as Grid and Yura.
Why it matters
Same-day dubs are still the exception. English-speaking viewers do not have to wait weeks for a VR isekai that already has a Western print audience through Yen Press/Ize Press. Episode 1, “Legendary Class,” has Grid taking an S-rank quest and finding Pagma's tome.
Satisfy, the in-story MMO, mixes real-world fame with legendary crafting. Grid starts mediocre and inherits a blacksmith class. That premise travels well in dubbed clips, which is why Crunchyroll lined both tracks up on day one.
What changes in practice?
On Crunchyroll the series lists Japanese, English and several other audio tracks, with a September 27 start. In Japan, Prime Video jumps five days ahead of TV. Opening theme: “SATISFY” by Re:name. Ending: “Ray of Emotion” by TAO.
This announcement does not confirm a day-one Brazilian Portuguese dub. Anyone who wants English audio or Japanese with subtitles can start today.
