NVIDIA Broadcast 2.3.0 arrives with Super Resolution up to 4K, Frame Generation and RTX Spark support

NVIDIA has released NVIDIA Broadcast 2.3.0, an update that brings RTX Video Super Resolution and Frame Generation technologies to the broadcasting app, along with native support for the new RTX Spark devices. NVIDIA Broadcast 2.3 makes AI upscale and frame generation tools accessible for streamers and creators.

What happened?

Version 2.3.0 of NVIDIA Broadcast adds File Processor mode, which allows applying AI audio and video effects to existing media files (MP4, M4A, MP3 and WAV). RTX Video Super Resolution (beta) upscales webcam or video files up to 4K on RTX 3060 or higher GPUs. RTX Video Frame Generation (beta) increases webcam frame rates up to 60 fps live and multiplies by 2x or 4x on files, requiring RTX 40 Series or newer.

The update also brings native RTX Spark support, four professional Studio Voice profiles (Default, Bright, Full and Warm) and an MCP server that allows AI agents to control Broadcast settings locally. NVIDIA Broadcast 2.3 remains free.

Why does this matter?

Streamers, creators and video conference users gain more powerful AI tools without needing complex software. RTX Spark support prepares the app for the new generation of notebooks and compact PCs with local AI coming to market. MCP integration with AI agents points to a future where content production is partially automated.

What changes in practice?

RTX card users can dramatically improve the quality of modest webcams and old video files with NVIDIA Broadcast 2.3. File processing runs at higher quality than live mode, but cannot run simultaneously with live streaming. The app remains free and requires a recent NVIDIA driver.
