HP EliteBoard G2a: Full PC inside a keyboard with Ryzen AI PRO 400 and up to 50 TOPS NPU

HP has introduced the EliteBoard G2a, the second generation of its keyboard-integrated PC. The model updates the line with AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400 processors from the Gorgon Point family and offers up to 50 TOPS of NPU for local AI tasks.

The design remains compact: the entire computer fits inside a full-size keyboard with low-profile keys, numeric keypad and Copilot key. Dimensions are approximately 358 × 119 × 18 mm and weight is around 675 g.

Configurations and prices

  • Base configuration: Ryzen AI 5 PRO 435 (6 cores / 12 threads, Radeon 840M), 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD — starting at US$ 3,028.
  • Higher-end configuration: Ryzen AI 7 PRO 450 (8 cores / 16 threads, Radeon 860M), 32 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD — around US$ 4,167.

Support for up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600 in upgradeable SO-DIMM slots. Primary monitor connection is via USB4/USB-C, with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0. There are no native USB-A or Ethernet ports. An optional 32 Wh internal battery allows limited mobility between workstations.

The EliteBoard G2a is classified as a Copilot+ PC and targets corporate environments and hot desks, where the form factor reduces cables and takes up less desk space. The previous generation (G1a) used Ryzen AI 300 chips; the update brings Gorgon Point with a 50 TOPS NPU.
