Honkai Star Rail 4.6, titled Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise, goes live on September 28, 2026 (the evening of the 27th in North America). HoYoverse confirms Pearl, a 5-star Ice character on the Path of Elation, as the patch lead, with Evanescia rerunning in the first half and Mortenax Blade in the second.
What happened?
The story continues in Astropolis and Planarcadia. After Nihilux revealed herself as Aha, the Aeon of Elation, Yabuli pushes a plan to “weaponize the husk” at Planarcadia’s expense, with suspected ties to a Voracity cult. Pearl sends Kuchiba and Ashveil into the Life Sciences Institute with the Trailblazer and Nihilux.

Why it matters
This is the next large 4.x drop. Pearl is the only new 5-star and stays on banner through November 10. Her kit uses Certified Banger and Deep Learning. Limited events, new relic sets, a boss and Astral Imagea also land in the patch.

NA players get in Sunday night. Asia and Europe open Monday morning. Phase 1 (through October 21) pairs Pearl with Evanescia. Phase 2 brings Mortenax Blade. Pearl’s Light Cone is Colors for Tomorrow.
