Hello Kitty Party Land launches on Switch and Switch 2

Hello Kitty Party Land launches today, October 29, 2026, on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. It is the first title from the Sanrio Games brand, developed by G-Style and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, bringing Hello Kitty and friends to a party game for all ages.

What the game is

In Party Land, a colourful town populated by Sanrio characters, players create their own avatar or play as a favourite character and take part in more than 45 mini-games, themed around sports, food, music and more. More than 145 characters appear in the game, with stickers to collect, and 16 characters are playable.

Board Game mode follows the classic party-game formula: players move across themed maps and compete in mini-games each turn. While waiting for a turn, they can play quick Petit Games without breaking up the match. Solo play is supported, as well as local and online play for up to four players.

Customisation and launch

Avatar customisation is one of the highlights: hairstyles, outfits and items unlock as you play, letting you build a unique character. On Switch 2, the game file is 3 GB, according to Nintendo's US store.

In Japan, the standard edition costs 6,380 yen, tax included. In the Japanese launch announcement, Sanrio Games also said the free 1.0.1 update offers jinbei-style outfits for My Melody, Hangyodon and Chococat.
