GTA 6 is the next Game Informer cover. The magazine announced a 14-page feature with exclusive Rockstar Games interviews, 12 never-before-seen screenshots and original art of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. The digital issue arrives September 29, 2026; print copies follow for subscribers.
What the GTA 6 cover story covers
Marcus Stewart spoke with Rockstar lead designers about how Leonida — the game's fictional Florida — was built. The piece highlights an advanced weather system that can simulate the state's less sunny phenomena and a “staggering” amount of wildlife on land, air and sea, native and otherwise.
Rockstar also discusses research in Miami and across Florida to create what the magazine calls the series' most culturally and aesthetically accurate world to date. The 12 screenshots show more of Vice City / Leonida's sights and citizens.
When to read it and when GTA 6 launches
Grand Theft Auto VI is still due November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Game Informer cover is the next official communications beat after August's Extended Look.
The magazine says the print issue is limited. Details at the Game Informer cover reveal and GamingBolt.
