Game Informer announced that GTA 6 is the cover of issue 382. The magazine promises a 14-page feature with exclusive interviews with Rockstar designers and 12 previously unseen screenshots. The digital edition arrives on September 29, 2026.
The cover uses original Rockstar art of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Editor Marcus Stewart says the focus is Leonida — the game's Florida parody — not a new trailer.
What the magazine has already teased
- an advanced weather system that also models Florida's less postcard-friendly conditions;
- wildlife on land, in the air and at sea, native and otherwise;
- field research in Miami and Florida to build Vice City and the rest of Leonida.
The screenshots and full quotes only appear on September 29. The game remains scheduled for November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Game Informer also posted the cover reveal on X on September 25.
