Galaxies Showcase 2026 returns October 15 with ZA/UM, Embark Studios and over 40 studios

The Galaxies Showcase 2026 returns on October 15 with one of its largest editions yet, bringing announcements from more than 40 studios and publishers, including names such as ZA/UM, Embark Studios and Frontier Developments.

What happened?

The event will be livestreamed on October 15 at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm BST / 9pm CEST. Jane Douglas (Outside Xbox) will host. Confirmed participants include Square Enix Collective, Krafton, Embark Studios (developer of ARC Raiders and The Finals), ZA/UM (Zero Parades: For Dead Spies), Frontier Developments (Elite Dangerous), Team17, Saber Interactive, Focus Entertainment and dozens of independent studios.

Embark Studios will use the showcase to debut the first gameplay trailer for the new season of The Finals, called PRIME TIME. Twitch drops will also be available for viewers.

Why does it matter?

Independent showcases like Galaxies have grown in importance by giving space to titles that do not appear in the major Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo events. With over 40 participants, the 2026 edition promises a mix of expected sequels, new projects and reveals from studios of different sizes.

  • Start time: 9pm CEST / 4pm BRT
  • Where to watch: IGN YouTube, Twitch, X, Facebook and partner sites (Eurogamer, Rock Paper Shotgun)
  • Highlights: ZA/UM, Embark, Frontier, Square Enix Collective

What changes in practice?

For anyone following indie and mid-tier games, the Galaxies Showcase 2026 is one of the best opportunities in October to discover what's coming without relying only on big publisher showcases. Mark the time and follow the official streams.
