Qwen clip earbuds open China pre-orders with 89-language translation

The Qwen clip earbuds have left the stage for the storefront. IT Home reported on Monday, October 5, 2026, that Alibaba's open-ear model is listed on Chinese shops with pre-orders open and no published price.

What happened?

According to IT Home, the Qwen clip earbuds come in deep space blue, starlight and aurora purple. They are not split into left and right. The set has IP55, pairs with up to eight devices and connects to two at once. Battery life is 9 hours, 40 with the case, plus wireless charging. Tuning is by Bose, with a 0.5 mm memory titanium arm and dynamic EQ.

Why it matters

The hardware takes Qwen off the phone: voice control, real-time transcription, offline recording and notes in 92 languages. AI translation covers 89 languages, face to face and on calls. Audio uses a 12-magnet dual-ring driver, LHDC 5.0 up to 1 Mbps and 96 kHz, and Hi-Res Wireless. Alibaba showed Qwen Clip at Apsara 2026 in September, made with Bose. The October listing is the store pre-order, price still open.

What changes in practice?

Shoppers in China can already reserve the earbuds, including 1-yuan links cited by IT Home. There is no sale date outside China in this announcement. Street-noise performance of the 89-language translation can only be measured after launch.
