DuneCrawl arrives October 19 on PS5, Xbox, and Android

Alientrap announced on Monday, October 5, 2026, that DuneCrawl arrives on October 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Android. Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions are due later this year, with no fixed date.

The Canadian studio posted the window on X and linked the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Google Play pages. The game has been on PC via Steam since January 5, 2026.

DuneCrawl is an open-world action-adventure in which up to four people explore a desert aboard a giant crab, the Dune Crawler. The official premise covers jar-headed Vassals, bug hordes, oasis islands, and dungeons, during a war between the Polloi and the Ceramicists' invasion.

What the port keeps

The description shared by Alientrap and reported by Gematsu keeps the design already known on PC:

  • local or online co-op for up to four players, or solo play with a ghostly companion;
  • open-world exploration, with islands, quests, and dungeons;
  • masks, tunics, and talismans, plus weapons such as the Buzzooka and Acid Harpoon;
  • combat on the crab itself, with cannons, leg repairs, and boarding actions;
  • mounts, including beetles, nymphs, scorpions, and ball bugs.

The announcement does not detail price, whether the port includes the SandStorm battle mode released on PC in March, or whether there will be cross-play between the new platforms. The PlayStation Store page cited by the studio still appears as a concept, not a final product listing.

For anyone who already played on PC, the news is a calendar: October 19 on PS5, Xbox Series, and Android, with Switch and Switch 2 only promised for the rest of 2026.
