DGX Spark 64GB arrives October 23 from $4,999

On Friday, October 2, 2026, NVIDIA announced the DGX Spark 64GB, a new configuration of the compact local-AI computer built on the GB10 Grace Blackwell superchip. It will be sold exclusively by Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP and MSI starting Friday, October 23, from $4,999.

In its official blog, the company calls the 64GB DGX Spark a new entry point for the platform. The chip, DGX OS and AI software stack stay the same as the 128GB DGX Spark. What changes is unified memory: NVIDIA says a 64GB system runs models of up to 100 billion parameters on device, versus up to 200 billion on the 128GB version.

What the configuration delivers

Two 64GB units can be linked through the included ConnectX-7 adapter and the NVIDIA Sync Cluster Assistant app. NVIDIA says the pair pools 128GB of memory and again covers models of up to 200 billion parameters. In an internal Qwen 3.8 27B test, two clustered systems delivered up to 1.7 times the performance of a single unit.

The company also points to NVIDIA Sync Model Launcher, due at the end of the month, to download and start Qwen3.8 27B on one machine or a cluster and set up OpenCode to use that model in the browser. Ollama, vLLM, llama.cpp, LM Studio and PyTorch with CUDA remain supported.

Why the price stands out

The $4,999 figure sits $1,000 above the $3,999 launch price of the 128GB DGX Spark, which shipped with twice the memory. NVIDIA says the 64GB configuration keeps the platform at a more accessible price point. The Register reports that, on the same Friday, the 128GB model rose to $6,950, about 75% above the price of a year ago, and attributes the change to the memory shortage. NVIDIA's blog does not detail that increase.

The Register also says onboard storage is cut in half and that memory bandwidth stays at 273 GB/s, which points to lower-density LPDDR5X modules rather than fewer modules. The 20-core Arm CPU, co-designed with MediaTek, is unchanged.

The announcement lands in the same cycle as NVIDIA's RTX Spark PCs, based on the same GB10 silicon and aimed at more general use. They are different lines: the 64GB DGX Spark is the compact local-AI station; RTX Spark is the wave of Windows PCs announced for this month.
