Castlevania: Belmont's Curse demo of the opening chapter arrives October 1

The Castlevania: Belmont's Curse demo arrives on October 1, 2026. Konami confirms on the official European site that the trial covers the opening chapter and that the save can transfer to the full game, set for October 15.

What the Castlevania demo includes

Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is a 2D action-exploration game focused on Rose Belmont. Konami describes a story set 23 years after Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, with faster combat. The official site sets the scene in medieval Paris in 1499, as creatures emerge in burning streets. Trevor Belmont enters the city with his daughter, Rose.

The demo is planned for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S and Steam. The save only carries over if the demo and the full game are on the same platform and the same account. Demo progress must remain saved, and the full game must be updated when transferring. Konami says some features may be restricted in the demo.
