The Blue Archive World of Warships collab is back this week. Wargaming is bringing themed commanders and ships to World of Warships and World of Warships: Legends again. On the PC title, the content is available from October 7 to December 2, 2026, according to the release published by Anime News Network on October 6.
What returns
In World of Warships, nine Blue Archive commanders return, including Wakamo, Maki, Nonomi, Shiroko and Serika. Seven ships also return: BA Tirpitz, BA Montana, BA Takahashi, BA Arona's Whale, BA Hovercraft, BA Utnapishtim's and BA Binah. The collab reunites both earlier waves rather than adding a third, new wave.
On World of Warships: Legends the window differs slightly, running from October 5 through December 7. Eight commanders return — Hoshino, Nonomi, Ayane, Shiroko, Serika, Yuuka, Maki and Wakamo — along with five ships: BA Montana, BA Tirpitz, BA Utnapishtim's Ship, BA Binah and BA Hovercraft. There is also a special skin for Takahashi. Content returns in the store and in Blue Archive II containers, with a mission that offers a free container and themed camouflages.
What else arrives in October
World of Warships update 15.9 opens the strategic Pacific Front event. Operations build toward a final showdown; a win yields Progress Tokens and, on the reward track, the U.S. Tier VI premium destroyer Monaghan. From October 15, Uncharted Seas adds the Tier VIII destroyers Datong (Pan-Asian) and Philips van Almonde (Dutch), earned with Seafarer Tokens. Italian Tier IX cruiser La Spezia enters the Armory via Research Points.
On Legends, the four-week campaign The Foghorn's Bride awards British Tier VIII premium cruiser Aberdeen after 80 milestones with Admiralty Backing. The Road to New Year event, which started October 5, offers a chance to earn a rare ship for free among Ohio, Lenin and Jean Bart. Official notes: update 15.9 and the Legends patch.
Why it matters
Blue Archive, from Nexon Games, remains one of the most recurring anime collabs in Western games. For players who missed the earlier waves, the window through December is a chance to build the themed fleet without waiting for a new announcement. Inven Global also logged the return, with the same commander and ship list on PC.
Wargaming did not announce a third wave of characters in the release. What is confirmed is the reopening of the two earlier waves, with different dates on PC and Legends. Pricing and how each item is earned are in the update 15.9 notes.
