Alibaba, through the Qwen team, opened experience sign-ups on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, for Qwen Go! (or Qianwen Go!), a Personal Agent AI embedded in the Qwen app.
The product is not a standalone app. Users can request access via a waiting-list page inside the Qwen app. According to the official Qwen WeChat announcement and reports from Chinese outlets such as National Business Daily and TechNode, the agent can execute practical tasks within the Alibaba ecosystem and connected platforms.
What the agent does
In public demonstrations, Qwen Go! checked flight history, identified an eligible delay, contacted support (switching from phone call to chat when necessary) and negotiated a cash refund of 70 yuan. In another case, it reviewed Taobao orders and requested price protection of 52 yuan.
Other mentioned scenarios include booking sports venues or shows, comparing and purchasing products, quoting and scheduling vehicle maintenance, and even submitting resumes. The process is visible in the interface, and the user can intervene or stop it at any time. The agent only operates on authorized accounts and platforms.
Context and why it matters
The initiative continues Alibaba’s strategy of AI agents that go beyond conversation, leveraging its e-commerce, travel and local services ecosystem. Recently Qwen launched the QwenGyre framework for long-horizon agent training and presented AI glasses. Qwen Go! represents the practical application of these agents to everyday consumer tasks.
For now, access is via waitlist and there is no official information on final pricing. The company states it will continue refining the product based on feedback.
