South Korean startup Scatter Lab launched on September 28, 2026 the Zeta Visual Novel Mode on its AI character platform Zeta. The mode pairs existing story chat with visuals that follow the scene in real time.
Expressions and actions change as the conversation moves. Backgrounds shift with location. Choice menus and dice events add game-like beats. New characters can be generated on the fly. Creators can sell outfits.
Zeta has run since April 2024 at zeta-ai.io on Scatter Lab's Spotwrite-1 model.
