Xbox Mythic Achievements are now live for Xbox Insiders as of September 29, 2026. They are Microsoft's answer to PlayStation platinum trophies: one extra seal when you finish a game's original achievement list.
DLC and later patches are tagged as add-ons and do not remove Mythic status once earned, according to the Xbox Wire post.
How Xbox Mythic Achievements work
A progress bar sits on top of each game's achievement page. You can filter to original achievements only. CEO Asha Sharma posted an unlock from Gears of War: E-Day and its 55 achievements.
Retroactive, including Xbox 360
Eligible titles you already completed on Xbox 360, Xbox One and Series can show Mythic the next time you open your profile.
Profile tab
A Gaming tab collects Mythics, Gamerscore milestones and friends' completions. A public rollout date has not been announced.
