Wardogs has sold more than 3 million copies in Steam early access. Bulkhead CEO Joe Brammer says the studio is overwhelmed by cheaters, DDoS and exhaustion.
What happened?
The tactical shooter sold 1 million on day one and 2 million in under five days, peaking above 428,000 concurrent players. The official account confirmed 3 million on 26 September.
Why it matters
It is one of 2026’s fastest PC early-access launches and competed with Modern Warfare 4 on Steam. Consoles arrive in 2028; Season 2 is set for 15 October.
What changes in practice
Fewer official updates this week and more anti-cheat work. The game remains on Steam.
