VOID/BREAKER 1.0 launches today on PC, PS5 and Xbox with Game Pass and story finale

VOID/BREAKER reaches version 1.0 today, Tuesday, November 4, ending its early access period on PC and debuting on consoles. The first-person roguelite from Stubby Games, published by Playstack, is available for PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, launching on Game Pass on day one.

The final version concludes the game's story with Zone 06, according to Playstack, and expands the content with new bosses, enemies and weapons, plus an endgame hub, according to reports on the update. Players who already owned the game in early access receive version 1.0 without buying it again.

The project is a solo work by Daniel Stubbington of Stubby Games, known for the puzzle game The Entropy Centre (2022). It combines high-speed shooting, agile movement, deep weapon modding and environmental destruction as a core combat mechanic, across runs with route choices and rewards.

On Steam, the base price is US$ 29.99. On Steam, the Supporter's Pack is granted free to anyone who bought the game in early access or buys it before 1.0, including the official soundtrack by Joe Ford. This article is an update: Geekiki had already reported in October on the announcement of the early access exit on November 4 and the arrival on Game Pass.
