The transport simulator Transport Fever 3, developed by Switzerland's Urban Games and published by Paradox Interactive, launched on September 29, 2026 for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG), macOS, Linux, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. In Japan and Oceania the unlock fell in the early hours of September 30.
The series returns with rail, road, sea and air networks across more than 125 years of transport history, from horse-drawn wagons to high-speed trains. Urban Games lists more than 275 vehicles and four environments: temperate, desert, tropical and a new sub-arctic setting.
What changes this generation
Besides routes, the game asks players to manage supply chains that feed villages and capital cities. There is a tycoon mode with adjustable difficulty, a sandbox with mod support, a campaign inspired by historical events, a map editor and dynamic weather.
Suggested pricing is US$49.99 on PC and US$59.99 on consoles for the Standard Edition. Deluxe is US$64.99 / US$74.99. Owners of Transport Fever 2 on the same storefront still get a 10 percent loyalty discount until 14 days after launch. A Collector's Edition limited to 10,000 copies is priced at US$119.99.
Early reception
Around launch the title reached No. 1 on Steam's global bestsellers list, according to specialist coverage. In the first hours user reviews sat in mixed territory, with about two-thirds positive among more than 1,700 ratings. That snapshot can shift quickly and should not be read as a final verdict.
Urban Games confirmed the launch on the Steam news hub on September 29.
