Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis drops the Denuvo label on Steam

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis no longer lists Denuvo Anti-Tamper on its Steam page. SteamDB records the change on September 30, 2026, and specialist outlets picked it up on October 5. Crystal Dynamics, Flying Wild Hog and Amazon Games have not issued a statement about the removal.

Prima Games reports that the DRM had been on the store page since June 2026 and that the third-party entry disappeared in SteamDB history, in the change identified as U:85684595. The Steam page for app 3558670 also no longer mentions Denuvo. That documents the store listing, not an official statement that the game will launch without the system.

What is not confirmed

About four months remain before launch, set for February 12, 2027, on PC via Steam, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2. Publishers have removed a store label and put it back near release before. Until the studio or the final build confirms it, the missing listing is a signal, not a guarantee.

The game is a recreation of the first Tomb Raider, on Unreal Engine 5, developed by Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog and published by Amazon Games. Pre-orders are already open. The PC debate centers on performance and compatibility, common reasons for pushback against Denuvo, which usually leaves games months or years after launch, not before.
