TOEM 2 launches Tuesday, September 29, 2026 on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch (including Switch 2). Swedish studio Something We Made set a worldwide unlock at 13:00 UTC.
The sequel puts the curious photographer back on the road to document mysterious events called TOEMs. There is no timer: you walk, talk, take pictures and collect journal stamps to open the next region.
What is new
The camera now has attachments that solve problems beyond a simple snapshot. There are new characters, a critter compendium and larger black-and-white 3D spaces. The original TOEM won a BAFTA for Best Debut.
A demo is on Steam. The store page lists controller support, Steam Deck Verified status and several interface languages.
