Terraria crossplay is in the home stretch. In the September 2026 State of the Game, Re-Logic and DR Studios said the team is putting finishing touches on Phase 1, plus leftover 1.4.5.8 fixes. They expect the first Terraria crossplay submission to be ready in the near future and will announce when it happens.
What happened?
The official post, dated September 24, 2026 on Steam and the forums, merges PC and console/mobile updates because Terraria crossplay is imminent. Update 1.4.6 pulls it all together. Phase 2 should follow Phase 1 as soon as possible, with a possible extra in between.
Some of Re-Logic went from Gamescom to TapTap Game Fest 2026 in Shanghai, the studio first formal fan event since 2011. The team is back working on Terraria crossplay.
