Shift Up confirmed that Stellar Blade Switch 2 Complete Edition will include a frame generation toggle at launch on November 5, 2026. In the current demo the feature stays on and some players reported input lag.
What the demo showed
The Switch 2 build renders around 30 FPS and uses DLSS upscaling plus FSR 3.1 frame generation to look like 60 FPS. Digital Foundry noted that interpolating from 30 FPS is not what Nvidia and AMD recommend.
What changes at launch
The studio watched Stellar Blade Switch 2 demo feedback and added the toggle. With it off, the expected output is native 30 FPS. The Complete Edition bundles post-launch content plus HD Rumble and gyro aiming.
