During the SPY x FAMILY ANIME EXTRA MISSION II event held in Japan on November 8, 2026, the official production announced that the fourth season of the SPY×FAMILY anime is in production and will air in 2027. Additionally, the franchise's second theatrical film is also scheduled for release the same year.

What was announced?

A Season 4 teaser visual was revealed, illustrated by character designer Satoshi Kadowaki. The artwork brings together the Forger family — Loid, Anya, Yor, and Bond — against an urban backdrop, with newspapers and flyers hinting at elements of the new story.

Production continues under WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks, the same studios behind the first three seasons. The director is Yasuhiro Akamatsu, with character design by Satoshi Kadowaki and Kazuaki Shimada.

Series context

The first season premiered in 2022 (split into two cours), the second in 2023, and the third in 2025. The film SPY×FAMILY Code: White was released in Japanese theaters in December 2023. The series is based on the manga by Tatsuya Endō, serialized on Shonen Jump+.

Exact premiere date, episode count, and synopsis details have not yet been released. More information is expected later on the official site spy-family.net.
