Sony launches the INZONE H9 II Fnatic Edition and INZONE E9 Glass Purple on October 22

Sony is adding two colors to its INZONE gaming line: the orange wireless INZONE H9 II Fnatic Edition headset and the translucent purple wired INZONE E9 Glass Purple earphones. The international announcement came on October 6, and the Japanese division formalized the new colors on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, with pre-orders the same day and store arrival on October 22.

What changes on each model

The INZONE H9 II Fnatic Edition uses esports team Fnatic’s orange and becomes the headset’s third color, alongside black and white. Sony says the model was developed with Fnatic, tuned for competitive play, especially FPS, to bring out distant footsteps and attack sounds. The driver follows the same concept as the WH-1000XM6, with noise cancelling, an adjustable cardioid microphone and up to 30 hours of battery. IT Home lists 273 g with the microphone and 260 g without it.

The INZONE E9 Glass Purple has a sealed, semi-transparent body and tips that isolate noise passively. Sony describes the closed structure as the first of its kind in the line and cites a 5 mm driver, a USB-C audio box with spatial game audio and an equalizer. The color joins black and white and, with the INZONE Buds Glass Purple, forms a purple range for the brand.

Price and where to see them

In Japan, Sony Marketing treats the price as open. Local store coverage estimates about 39,600 yen for the H9 II Fnatic Edition and 17,600 yen for the E9, both tax included. The Japanese Sony Store includes both in the INZONE sale running through October 21, with pre-orders at 34,100 yen and 15,400 yen. Sony stores in Ginza, Sapporo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka Tenjin start showing the colors on October 7. A Japanese retail report puts the US price of the E9 Glass Purple at $149.99; Sony Europe did not list regional prices in its release.
