Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Year 2: Godzilla, Evangelion, Hello Kitty and Final Fantasy VII on Sega’s roadmap

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Year 2 was announced by Sega with a full roadmap starting November 3, 2026. Season Pass Two brings six paid packs with heavy crossovers plus monthly free content.

What’s coming in Year 2?

The first paid pack is the Godzilla Pack on November 3, featuring the Godzilla Escape course (Sonic Adventure 2’s City Escape invaded by the monster) and vehicles based on Godzilla, King Ghidorah and Mothra. January 2027 brings the EVANGELION Pack with the Tokyo-III course, Rei Ayanami and Asuka Shikinami Langley as racers, plus three driveable EVAs.

Other packs include Virtual Sanrio Puroland (Hello Kitty and Kuromi, Q2 2027), SEGALAND (classic Sega references, Q3 2027), Midgar Pack from Final Fantasy VII Remake (Q3 2027) and Reload Revival Royal Pack from Persona (Q4 2027). There is also a 1v1 Duel mode, new gadgets and the Grand Master Plate with a seventh slot in Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Year 2.

Free content and pricing

Bayonetta arrives free on November 3, followed by a McLaren collaboration and Aigis from Persona 3. The base game also received a permanent price drop (Standard from $70 to $40). Season Pass Two costs $29.99. Sega revealed Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Year 2 during the World Championship Finals.
