Tekken 8's Reina joins Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves in December

On Friday, October 9, 2026, SNK announced that Reina from Tekken 8 will arrive as a playable DLC character in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves in December. The official notice, reported by Gematsu, calls her the Purple Lightning and closes the teaser with her arrival in South Town.

What SNK confirmed

In the company profile, Reina is a student at Mishima Polytechnical School, with the rest of her background still a mystery. The official text says her lightning-quick moves occasionally reveal a ruthless side beneath the cheerful demeanor, and that after wandering into South Town she decides to enter the King of Fighters.

Asami Seto returns as the Japanese voice. Kate Clarke provides the English voice. The teaser is on SNK's channel: Reina in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Gameplay details come later.

Why it matters

Reina debuted in Tekken 8 as Heihachi Mishima's secret daughter. Putting her in South Town is a guest from another publisher, Bandai Namco, on SNK's DLC roster. The reveal fills the mystery-character slot SNK had reserved for December in Season 3, themed Destined for Revenge, which began on July 23, 2026.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is due on October 22, according to Gematsu. The Steam page is here.

What has not been detailed yet is the moveset, the standalone price, and whether she is included in a season pass already on sale. Until the December release notes, that remains open.
