Publisher Future Friends Games and studio Freshly Baked Games confirmed that Queen's Domain launches on October 30, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. The console versions are the new part of the announcement; the game was already listed on PC.
What happened?
Queen's Domain is a retro-fantasy first-person action RPG inspired by King's Field. You wash up on the Isle of Neasied looking for your father and must uncover what sits at the island's heart. The key weapon is the Holy Sword Endu, which also handles traversal — you fly from platform to platform and can extend the range with upgrades.
Combat mixes a stamina meter, charged attacks, weapon-specific specials and more than 20 throwing weapons. There are over 50 melee weapons to find and upgrade, more than 100 enemies including mini-bosses and bosses, and an interconnected world with dozens of hours of exploration. XP levels you up; food boosts stats.
Why it matters
A same-day launch on four platforms, including Switch 2, widens the reach of an indie built around first-person labyrinths — a niche that often stays on PC. The October 30 date puts an exploration action RPG on the calendar, not only AAA sequels.
