The Psikyo Memories collection has a date: February 18, 2027, for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The confirmation is on Edia’s official site, updated on October 5, 2026, and was reported by Gematsu from the developer’s announcement.
The collection was revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2026 in Edia’s catalog, with only a 2027 window. What changed is the day. The same company listing says Edia games planned for 2027 and beyond are intended for a simultaneous worldwide release. The Japanese site lists the date as planned.
What is in the collection
It includes 12 arcade shoot ’em ups from Psikyo:
- Dragon Blaze
- Gunbarich
- Gunbird and Gunbird 2
- Samurai Aces, Tengai (Samurai Aces II), and Samurai Aces III: Sengoku Cannon
- Sol Divide
- Strikers 1945, Strikers 1945 II, and Strikers 1999
- Zero Gunner 2
In Japan, the physical standard edition and the digital edition cost 6,800 yen, or 7,480 yen with tax. The physical special edition is 14,800 yen, 16,280 with tax, and includes the game, a set of 12 dog tags, an illustration booklet, and a desk calendar. Edia says the special-edition run is limited. The Switch 2 version ships on a game-key card.
PC is not listed. At TGS, Strikers 1945 was playable on a demo PC, but that did not become a computer version announcement.
Why it matters
Arcade shmup collections often arrive as scattered ports. Psikyo Memories puts the studio’s main line — Strikers, Gunbird, and the Sengoku series — on current consoles, with Japanese pricing and a special edition already set. Pricing outside Japan and the CERO rating have not been published; the official sheet marks the rating as pending review.
