What is Phantom Blade Zero?

Developed by S-GAME, Phantom Blade Zero is a third-person action RPG set in a world of Chinese martial arts mixed with steampunk/kungfupunk elements. The protagonist has only 66 days to live and must navigate conspiracies, high-speed combat and a world full of bosses.

The launch trailer highlights new weapons, cinematic combat sequences and the game’s dark atmosphere. The title was originally planned for September 9, 2026 and was delayed for additional polish.

Why it matters

Phantom Blade Zero is one of the most prominent Chinese games in the global action RPG scene in 2026. With strong visuals, agile combat and consulting from action artists (including Donnie Yen in earlier development stages), it arrives at a time of high interest in high-production Asian titles.
