Phantom Blade Zero launches digitally on October 28 on PS5 and PC

What happened?

S-GAME confirmed the digital launch of Phantom Blade Zero for October 28, 2026 (7 PM PT / October 29 at 10 AM Beijing time) on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). Preload begins two days earlier. The PS5 physical edition has been delayed to 2027.

The game is a high-speed action RPG combat title inspired by kung fu cinema in the Kungfupunk universe. A launch trailer was recently released.

Why does this matter?

Phantom Blade Zero is one of the most anticipated 2026 releases in the oriental action RPG style, focusing on fluid combat and wuxia aesthetics. The physical version delay does not affect immediate digital access, allowing players to start on the announced date.

The game debuted at the 2023 PlayStation Showcase and had its original September 2026 date delayed to October for visual and gameplay polish.

What changes in practice?

  • Digital players can preload from October 26 (PT) and play on the 28th.
  • Indicated prices: US$ 59.99 (Standard) and US$ 69.99 (Digital Deluxe).
  • Console exclusive on PS5 for about 12 months; no Xbox announcement yet.
  • Physical Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate (with steel case) editions arrive in 2027.

The studio thanked fans for their patience and invited everyone to meet in the Wulin.
