What is Order of the Sinking Star?
It is a puzzle adventure in a realm of magic and riddles, with more than a thousand handcrafted challenges, four regions that connect, and playable heroes with different abilities. Blow has mentioned more than 1,400 puzzles and 250 hours at a normal pace, over 500 hours to solve everything.
Who made it?
Thekla leads the project, published by Arc Games. Blow called the team a puzzle-design "supercollider." The game uses the Jai language created in-house. Development has taken about ten years since The Witness (2016).
Why it matters
Order of the Sinking Star is Blow's third directed game and the studio's first major title in a decade. No Xbox version has been announced.
