Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Drops with Triple 200MP Cameras and 2nm Chip

The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max was unveiled this Tuesday (22) in China alongside the Find X10 and Find X10 E. The flagship combines a triple 200-megapixel rear camera setup with the Dimensity 9600 Pro processor, built on a 2-nanometre node. The announcement was detailed in the official Oppo press release and covered by outlets like 9to5Google.

What happened?

The lineup rolls out with three models. At the top, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max features a Hasselblad camera system with a main sensor, ultra-wide, and telephoto lens all rated at 200 MP. The device supports 8K video recording across all three rear lenses and packs a 50 MP front-facing camera.

Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, manufactured on TSMC's N2P process. According to Oppo, the chip houses two C2-Ultra cores clocked at 4.55 GHz, a G2-Ultra NX GPU with ray tracing, and dual NPUs dedicated to on-device AI tasks. The brand claims that language model pre-filling is up to 51% faster on the primary NPU.

What does this mean?

Two nanometres represents the most advanced fabrication node currently available for mobile chips. The number refers to transistor size: the smaller the node, the more components fit into the same physical space and the lower the power consumption under equivalent workloads. Both Oppo and MediaTek claim up to a 61% boost in multi-core efficiency compared to the previous generation process.

However, three 200 MP sensors do not automatically guarantee photos that are three times better. Megapixels measure resolution rather than optical quality or dynamic range. What Oppo is promising is strong color consistency across all three lenses and native 8K support across the board.

In practice

The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max sports a 6.78-inch display with up to 144 Hz refresh rate, up to 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage, ColorOS 17 (Android 17), and a massive 8,000 mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Pre-orders in China start at 7,999 yuan (approx. $1,200 USD). A global launch has been confirmed, though specific international dates are yet to be announced.

The same event also saw the debut of the Watch S2 smartwatch and Enco X4 earbuds. The standard Find X10 features dual 200 MP cameras paired with a 50 MP ultra-wide, while the E variant serves as the entry-level model. Meanwhile, Xiaomi is set to unveil its 18 Pro lineup tomorrow, which is also rumoured to feature 200 MP sensors.

What this doesn't mean yet

Independent reviews regarding camera performance, thermal management, or real-world battery life are not yet available. Pricing and availability details for other regions remain under wraps.
