NVIDIA RTX Spark hits the market: Windows notebooks with up to 128 GB unified memory and 1 PFLOPS of AI

NVIDIA announced this week the commercial availability of the first RTX Spark notebooks and systems, marking the arrival of a new class of Windows PCs focused on local AI, creation and gaming.

What is RTX Spark?

RTX Spark is a superchip that combines a Blackwell RTX GPU (up to 6,144 cores) with a Grace CPU (up to 20 cores) and up to 128 GB of unified LPDDR5X memory. According to NVIDIA, it delivers up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance, allowing large models to run locally, 3D scenes of up to 90 GB to be rendered and AAA games to be played at 1440p above 100 fps on a thin notebook.

The launch includes models from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft (Surface Laptop Ultra starting at $2,599) and MSI. Compact desktops arrive in November.

Why it matters

For the first time, developers and creators can keep AI agents, models and entire workflows on a Windows notebook with full CUDA support, without relying exclusively on the cloud. Games such as Gears of War: E-Day and NBA 2K27 already have launch support with DLSS 5.
