Mushoku Tensei ended the first cour of its third season in Japan with episode 14, “Resolve,” and the production then confirmed that the second cour will air in 2027.
What was announced
The official site and Japanese outlets including Dengeki Online, PASH! PLUS and Oricon said the second block of Mushoku Tensei will not continue immediately. The gap follows the split-cour pattern of earlier seasons.
A announcement video focuses on Dragon God Orsted, with a newly recorded line by Kenjiro Tsuda: “Rudeus Greyrat… as long as you side with the Man-God, I will not let you escape.”
Where episode 14 left the story
Rudeus follows advice from his future self and avoids the trigger of Roxy’s death. The Man-God appears, and Rudeus resolves to fight Orsted to protect his family. That clash is expected to drive cour 2 of Mushoku Tensei.

Animation remains at Studio Bind. Ryosuke Shibuya directs with series composition shared with Naoto Taniuchi. Character design is by Sanae Shimada and Ryota Furukawa; music by Yoshiaki Fujisawa. Yumi Uchiyama continues as Rudeus.
Cour 1 ran from July 5 to September 28, 2026 (14 episodes). Crunchyroll streams the season outside Japan and China. No exact month in 2027 has been given.
