Micron closed fiscal fourth-quarter 2026 with $54.23 billion in revenue and GAAP net income of $37.7 billion. Sales almost quadrupled from $11.32 billion a year earlier and beat Wall Street, driven by a chronic shortage of high-bandwidth memory for AI.
What the numbers show
Adjusted EPS landed at $33.42 versus forecasts around $31. DRAM revenue rose 343% year over year to $39.8 billion and made up 73% of sales. Full-year revenue reached $133.19 billion versus $37.38 billion in fiscal 2025. Operating cash flow was $43.97 billion in the quarter; cash ended at $73.48 billion.
Guidance and custom HBM
For fiscal Q1 2027 Micron guided revenue of $60 billion to $63 billion and adjusted EPS of $37.15 to $39.15. CEO Sanjay Mehrotra said fiscal 2027 should be even stronger and that Micron is working with Nvidia on the industry's first custom HBM implementation. He framed AI as Super Intelligence and memory as what makes customer platforms competitive.
Why it matters
HBM and DRAM remain the bottleneck in the data-center build-out. Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron feed Nvidia and AMD GPUs. MU shares are up about 550% over 12 months and closed near $1,065. The print shows the memory cycle has not cooled and that Micron plans to spend more on factories and products.
