My Happy Marriage special gets main trailer, premieres October 25

The three-episode special of My Happy Marriage (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) received its main trailer on Friday, October 2. The video shows Miyo and Kiyoka’s everyday life on the eve of the wedding and releases a snippet of the opening. The premiere is set for October 25, according to Comic Natalie.

What the trailer shows

Comic Natalie published the announcement around noon in Japan. In the trailer, the couple lives through the routine before the ceremony. A piece of the opening also plays: 「幸せで涙が出るのは。」 (“It’s happiness that brings the tears.”), sung by riria. The artist left a comment hoping the song stays close to the pair in the special.

The series follows Miyo Saimori, born without supernatural talent into a family of ability users and raised under her stepmother’s abuse, until her engagement to Kiyoka Kudo. Reina Ueda continues as Miyo and Kaito Ishikawa as Kiyoka. Direction and series composition are by Takehiro Kubota at studio Kinema Citrus, from the novels by Akumi Agitogi with illustrations by Tsukiho Tsukioka, published by Kadokawa.

When and where

Comic Natalie lists the broadcast on TOKYO MX and other stations from October 25, 2026, at 7 p.m. Japan time. Delivery on Netflix and other services starts the same day at 8:30 p.m. There are three episodes. An earlier trailer, reported by Crunchyroll on August 31, had already locked the Netflix date and previewed the ending 「Just before the Prelude 〜for me&you〜」 by Kashitaro Ito, plus M・A・O joining as Kimio Nagaba, an old classmate of Miyo.

Why it matters

The special is not a full new season: it is a short continuation centered on the path to the wedding. Today’s trailer is the first longer look at the everyday tone of that final stretch, with its own opening. For viewers who have followed the adaptation since 2023, it is the next closed chapter of Miyo and Kiyoka’s story, not a loose cast or date announcement.
