Meta launches Spaces in Muse: describe an idea and get a personalized mini-app

Meta launched Spaces in Muse on Friday, November 6, 2026, a new feature that turns text descriptions into personalized experiences inside the app. The official announcement was made in Meta's newsroom, under the title "Design the Muse App, Just for You".

What a space is

A space is a custom experience created inside Muse from an idea described in conversation: a holiday gift tracker, a daily word game, a planning board for a do-it-yourself project, a trip planner, a recipe organizer or a wedding planner. "Describe an idea in chat, and Muse builds a space for you, whether that's a tracker, a planner or a project board," Meta says.

How it works

Spaces live in the sidebar or the main tabs of the app, can be pinned, moved or hidden, and users can choose when they appear. By connecting the apps they use, spaces stay up to date in the background: new concert dates, price changes or savings progress show up without having to ask.

Meta says connecting the apps used every day lets spaces update themselves. The Verge cites Gmail, Google Calendar, OpenTable and Notion as examples of external apps that can feed a space, while noting that this is not an official list of Spaces integrations.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg showed off the feature in a post on X: "Playing around with spaces in Muse lately — tell Muse what you need and it builds it. I've made a BBQ game, an event tracker, and a home control dashboard. Excited to see what you build."

Availability and what's next

Sharing spaces with other people is still under exploration and has not launched. The feature is available everywhere Muse is offered, starting on the day of the announcement.

Spaces is the second new Muse feature in a week: a day earlier, Meta announced Muse Voice, which lets users video chat with the agent. According to Meta, Muse agents had already reached 10 million users in the United States and Canada less than two months after launch, as stated on the October earnings call.

New specialized models

Alongside Spaces, Meta also began rolling out specialized versions of its models in Muse and Meta AI, trained with learnings from Muse Wonder. According to the company, the current Muse model scores 47% on its Personal Superintelligence Index, versus 38% for the previous model.
