Mai Kuraki Detective Conan now counts 30 official themes. The Japanese singer updated the Guinness World Record for the most theme songs by the same artist for an animation series after the ending Ai de Zenbu Dakishimete Aishite debuted on TV on September 26, 2026.
What happened?
On September 27, Guinness World Records Japan presented the certificate in Tokyo. Kuraki first earned the title in July 2017 with 21 songs. Nine years later the count reached 30.
The Mai Kuraki Detective Conan collaboration began in 2000 with Secret of my heart. She has since written openings and endings for the TV series and theatrical films.
The 29th song, Hallelujah, scored the two-hour special. The 30th is the new regular ending and arrives as a digital single on October 10 via NORTHERN MUSIC.
Why it matters
Few artist-series pairings last 26 years. The record is part of Detective Conan's sonic identity. The mark will appear in Guinness World Records 2027 on November 19.
What changes in practice
On November 11 comes the album with all 30 songs across three CDs. The limited edition adds a Blu-ray of the April 2026 NHK Hall concert.
