Logitech G unveiled the PRO X3 SUPERSTRIKE at PLAY 2026. The X2 follow-up keeps HITS instead of microswitches, adds the NxLOGI chipset, claims up to 135 hours of battery and costs $199.99.
What happened?
The Pro lineup refreshed on September 23. The official Logitech G page calls X3 the first PRO mouse with NxLOGI. Power use drops about 50% versus the X2, adding roughly 45 hours per charge.
HITS replaces the microswitch with electromagnetic sensing and a haptic actuator. Logitech says click latency falls by up to 30 ms, with custom actuation and reset. The click can be nearly silent.
Why it matters
The X2 sold out fast in February and reached major stages. X3 is a refinement of weight, balance and efficiency, not a new shape. US weight is listed at 59 g; Europe stays at 61 g to keep the battery replaceable.
Hero 2 tops out at 48K DPI in some listings (44K in others), up to 930 IPS and 90 G. 8 kHz polling stays on LIGHTSPEED and now also works over USB-C. No Bluetooth.
In practice
The X2 remains at $179.99. X3 ships in black and magenta. Charge via USB-C or POWERPLAY. PLAY 2026 also brought the PRO X Control pad, PRO X2 Rapid keyboard, PRO X3 Lightspeed headset, G HUB Replay and a 44K DPI firmware bump for G502 X.
X2 owners get battery and a bit more sensor — not a clean-sheet mouse. New buyers pay $20 more for the current generation.
