Jikun Wilderness (饥困荒野), the Chinese mobile version of Don't Starve Together, is now listed on China's App Store. Tencent publishes the title with an official Klei Entertainment license and a planned launch date of November 24, 2026.
What happened?
IT Home reported on Monday that the Chinese iOS store page is live. The credited developer is Shenzhen Tencent Tianyou Technology. The package is about 3.5 GB, requires iOS 13 or later, is rated 13+ and includes in-app purchases.
Jikun Wilderness is not framed as a dry port: the store copy presents a new survival sandbox based on PC Don't Starve Together, with exploration, challenge, hunger, sanity and growth in an open world. Klei authorized the version. Tencent has been Klei's majority shareholder since 2021 and has published the multiplayer game on WeGame for years.
Why it matters
Don't Starve Together has a huge player base in China. An official mobile build with Klei in the credits shrinks the room for clones and puts the classic loop — hunger, darkness, bosses and bases — on phones. The project went through tests and monetization and UGC tweaks in 2026; the App Store listing means the launch window is no longer theoretical.
What changes in practice
Players in China can pre-order or watch the page until November 24. There is no matching global Don't Starve Together mobile announcement on this date. PC and console players stay on Klei's client; the mobile app is a parallel product for Tencent's ecosystem.
