Invincible VS Agent Spider has been officially announced by Skybound Games and developer Quarter Up as the fourth DLC character for the fighting game, scheduled to arrive in the winter (Northern Hemisphere) during Season 3.
What happened?
The announcement came with a reveal trailer highlighting the character's combat style. Agent Spider is the Spider-Man stand-in created for the Invincible animated series, as Marvel rights were not secured for the adaptation. In the original comics, Spider-Man did appear in a crossover.
Josh Keaton, who voiced Agent Spider in the series and is known for playing Spider-Man in multiple games and the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon, returns to voice the fighter in the game.
