The Inu x Boku SS anime opened a 15th-anniversary project for the TV series on October 2, 2026. The official announcement brought a special site, comments from the cast and staff, and the first confirmed event: a stage at the Kitakyushu Pop Culture Festival 2026.
Project details will be revealed over time. What is already set is an appearance by Hidaka Rina, the voice of Shirakiin Ririchiyo, and Hikasa Youko, the voice of Yukinokouji Nobara, on November 28, 2026, from 12:45, at KPF 2026. This announcement does not confirm a new season, a film, or a rerelease.
Who commented on the anniversary
The 15th-anniversary comments include Hidaka Rina, Nakamura Yuuichi (Miketsukami Soushi), Hosoya Yoshimasa, Hikasa Youko, Eguchi Takuya, Miyano Mamoru, Sugita Tomokazu, and Hanazawa Kana, plus director Tsuda Naokatsu and character designer and chief animation director Iizuka Haruko. The series is based on the manga by Fujiwara Cocoa, published in Monthly Gangan Joker, and the original Inu x Boku SS anime aired in 2012. The author died in 2015.
What has not been announced
The anniversary site is expected to collect later notices. Until then, what changed is the formal start of the Inu x Boku SS celebration, not a newly dated product.
